What Is A Boost Post
As the name signifies, BOOST POST IS A WAY OF GETTING MORE PEOPLE TO SEE AND ENGAGE WITH POST OF YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE. A few years back, Facebook had declined the organic reach of Facebook pages which resulted in businesses need to run ads to reach their potential customers if they don’t then there is no point in having a business on Facebook.
Here Are The Reasons Why It Is Not a Good choice
Well, there are various reasons that insisted me not recommending boosting posts for any business.
- When you click on the boost post button Facebook will choose automatic as an objective by default
- A limited number of objectives (Website Conversions, Traffic objectives are not there)
- A website link is mandatory if you want to run video views ads.
- Limited targeting options
- Facebook pixel is not turned on by default
- Limited placements for ads

So instead of boosting posts, I would recommend using a standard Facebook ads manager to run the ads for your business because the sole purpose of Facebook having the boost post button on the Facebook business page is pushing you to run the ads in order to reach to your potential customers.
